ICF <\/span>continued to grow around the world and reflect more <\/span>globally<\/span> diversity in our membership and our leadership. <\/span>We also examined the global awareness of coaching among consumers for the first time.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2009<\/span> – <\/span>Growing<\/span> Global Perspectives and Reach<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Marking<\/span> a<\/span> major <\/span>global milestone<\/span>,<\/span> Karen Tweedie<\/span>, MCC, <\/span>who is from Australia, <\/span>served as<\/span> the first global board president from outside of North America. <\/span>We saw significant membership growth <\/span>in <\/span>Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and South America, with total representation in <\/span>more than 95 countries and territories worldwide<\/span>. Additionally, we expanded our online<\/span> presence <\/span>through the launch of <\/span>social media<\/span> outlets<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In just 15 years, ICF had become the leader in the profession, experiencing unprecedented growth. Even compared to just five years prior, membership nearly doubled, and the number of credential-holders increased by 600% since 2005.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
