In 2007, ICF took a pioneering step for the coaching profession by commissioning <\/span>our<\/span> first-ever <\/span><\/span>Global Coaching Study<\/span><\/span><\/em>, a comprehensive analysis conducted by P<\/span>ric<\/span>e<\/span>w<\/span>aterhouse<\/span>C<\/span>oopers LLP (PwC)<\/span> to measure the industry\u2019s scope, revenue, and trends worldwide. <\/span>We not only studied coaching<\/span>\u2019s<\/span> reach in the world, but we also <\/span>found ways to deepen our own reach and impact.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2007<\/span> – <\/span>Groundbreaking <\/span>Global <\/span>Research<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

As the demand for coaching continued to grow, we commissioned our first <\/span>Global Coaching Study<\/span><\/i><\/a>,<\/span> which was conducted by PwC. This groundbreaking study provided a comprehensive overview of the coaching industry\u2019s size, revenue, trends, and the business and practice of coaching. It was the first time coaching was examined with such depth on a global scale, providing coaches with invaluable insights.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2007, four follow-up studies have been published. The studies not only show that the coaching industry has grown at an astonishing rate, but also the response sizes for each study have become larger and more globally representative.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2008- <\/span>Expanding <\/span>Regional Support<\/span> and <\/span>Social Impact<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

With some part-time offices serving as a precedent, ICF officially launched a regional staff structure in a continued effort to support members more locally. We added staff in Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Today, we have staff in all regions of the world.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
