At least 50% of all education must be delivered in synchronous activities, while the remaining 50% can be delivered asynchronously.<\/p>\r\n<p>Of this education, 80% must be focused on the ICF Team Coaching Competencies, ICF Core Competencies, and ICF Code of Ethics, while the remaining 20% can be focused on subjects not directly related to the ICF Core Competencies or ICF Team Coaching Competencies.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Important Definitions<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Contact Hours<\/strong>: Total clock hours spent in synchronous (real-time) and asynchronous (self-study) interactions between faculty and participants.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Synchronous Contact Hours<\/strong>: Synchronous hours include time spent in direct instruction, real-time discussions, observation and feedback or practice coaching sessions, and mentoring participants.<\/li>\r\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Asynchronous Contact Hours:<\/b> Asynchronous hours are time spent outside of real-time interaction between faculty and participants. These may include outside reading, writing, research, journaling, practice coaching, and other activities outside of the synchronous setting. All asynchronous hours require some method of validating that the participant completed the activity.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4>Course List<\/h4>\r\n<p>In the accreditation application, you will be asked to document all the classes that comprise the full program. The following details are required for each class:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Title.<\/li>\r\n<li>Brief description.<\/li>\r\n<li>Hours spent teaching.<\/li>\r\n<li>ICF Core Competencies taught.<\/li>\r\n<li>Primary delivery method (synchronous or asynchronous).<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4>Observed Team Coaching Sessions<\/h4>\r\n<p>Observed coaching sessions are a vital component of quality coaching education. ICF Advanced Accreditation in Team Coaching providers must provide a minimum of two observed team coaching sessions for each participant. Written feedback must be provided for at least one of the two sessions.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Important Definitions<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Observed Coaching Session<\/b>: Session in which a participant is coaching any client (team), fellow participants, or other persons to practice their team coaching skills.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Time Requirement:<\/b> Sessions should be long enough for a team coaching conversation. There is no minimum length requirement for observed team coaching sessions.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Structure:<\/b> Sessions must be observed by an instructor\/observer responsible for providing written feedback to the participant, noting the participant&#8217;s use of the ICF Team Coaching Competencies, ICF Core Competencies, and ICF Code of Ethics in the team coaching session. These sessions may be observed live or through a recorded session. Observed team coaching sessions count as part of the total instructional hours of the program.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<h4>Coaching Supervision<\/h4>\r\n<p>ICF Advanced Accreditation in Team Coaching providers are required to provide or verify each participant receives at least five hours of coaching supervision with an eligible coaching supervisor or ICF mentor coach with coaching supervision training and experience.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Important Definitions<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/coachingfederation.org\/education-professional-development\/find-professional-development\/coaching-supervision\/\"><strong>Coaching Supervision<\/strong>:<\/a> A collaborative learning practice to continually build the capacity of the coach through reflective dialogue for the benefit of both coaches and clients.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Structure<\/strong>: Minimum of five hours of coaching supervision. These five hours can be verified or integrated into the total contact hours and occur periodically throughout the contact hours. Coaching supervision hours may be completed either one-to-one with a coaching supervisor or in a group supervision setting. Coaching supervision hours submitted to meet this requirement must focus on the participant&#8217;s team coaching practice but may also include some focus on other aspects of the participant&#8217;s professional practice (individual coaching, group coaching, etc.). All coaching supervision should be completed verbally.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><a id=\"fl-accordion--label-3\" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"#\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-3\">Teaching and Instruction<\/a> <a id=\"fl-accordion--icon-3\" tabindex=\"-1\" href=\"#\"><i title=\"Expand\">Expand<\/i><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>Your organization is making a real and measurable difference in people&#8217;s lives, which is why we&#8217;re passionate about making sure our coaches and the organizations that educate them are well-equipped to do their jobs. That&#8217;s why we require the following qualifications for key faculty positions.<\/p>\r\n<h4>Director of Education<\/h4>\r\n<p>Directors must hold an active PCC or MCC credential from ICF and subscribe to the ICF definition of coaching, ICF Team Coaching Competencies, ICF Core Competencies, and ICF Code of Ethics.<\/p>\r\n<h4>Instructors<\/h4>\r\n<p>All instructors who are teaching content based on the ICF definition of coaching, ICF Team Coaching Competencies, ICF Core Competencies, and ICF Code of Ethics must hold one of the three ICF credentials (ACC, PCC, or MCC).<\/p>\r\n<p>Those teaching other optional content not related to the ICF definition of coaching, ICF Team Coaching Competencies, ICF Core Competencies, or ICF Code of Ethics are not required to hold an ICF credential. (This is considered Resource Development instruction).<\/p>\r\n<h4>Observers<\/h4>\r\n<p>All observers of participant team coaching sessions, and those responsible for providing written feedback, must hold one of the three ICF credentials (ACC, PCC, or MCC).<\/p>\r\n<h4>Coaching Supervisors<\/h4>\r\n<p>All coaching supervisors must meet at least one of the following criteria:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Hold an active coaching supervision certification, credential, or accreditation by a coaching or coaching supervision professional body.<\/li>\r\n<li>Have completed a coaching supervision education program of at least 60 hours and have at least 120 hours of coaching supervision experience.<\/li>\r\n<li>Be an eligible ICF mentor coach with 60 hours of coaching supervision education and at least 120 hours of experience.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><a id=\"fl-accordion--label-4\" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"#\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-4\">Assessment, Evaluation, and Effectiveness <\/a> <a id=\"fl-accordion--icon-4\" tabindex=\"-1\" href=\"#\"><i title=\"Expand\">Expand<\/i><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>ICF Advanced Accreditation in Team Coaching providers set a quality standard that meets the expectations of both participants and their clients.
